Has been a seasonal resident of Edgartown since 1978. He and his wife Pam live next to Ox Pond Meadow and Little Beach preserves. John was a member of the Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation Board of Directors from 2005 to 2015 and served as its President from 2011 to 2014. He rejoined the Board in June 2016. He retired from Morgan Stanley in 2006 where he was a member of the Management Committee and was President and Chief Operating Officer of the Global Wealth Management Group. John is a board member of Annaly Capital Management (NYSE:NLY). He was a member of the Board of Trustees of Martha’s Vineyard Hospital from 2011 to 2022, serving as Chair the last three years. John is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Harvard Business School.
