Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation allows for archery hunting of white-tailed deer, Odocoileus virginianus, on 12 properties by written permission only. Of the 12 properties where hunting is permitted, only 5 are open to the public with maintained trails: Brookside Ridge Preserve, Cedar Tree Neck, Middle Road Sanctuary, Phillips Preserve, and Quansoo Farm.

There is no permitted hunting any of other species on Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation properties.*
*(Except for one instance where a family maintained deeded rights to hunt waterfowl on a property that was donated to Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation. That property is not open to the public.)
