Each spring, Martha’s Vineyard Magazine hosts the “Best of the Vineyard” contest where more than 3,200 voters participate in choosing their favorite spots on the island. Cedar Tree Neck Sanctuary was nominated for the Great Outdoors category for “having all the hallmarks of up-Island beauty combined in a single property—a stunning shoreline, stunted American beech trees, and a rocky stream that runs to the sea.”
Cedar Tree Neck Sanctuary encompasses 400 acres of woodlands, wetlands, bluffs, beaches, and bogs with miles of trails to hike. The sanctuary is open all year, 8:30am-5:30pm.
