Is a five-time General Counsel who has advised executive leadership and boards of directors across diverse public and private companies. Known as a trusted strategic business partner, Peter has built and led high-performing legal departments for both established and emerging companies. Peter began his legal career as a Litigation Associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, followed by four years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal Division of the Southern District of New York. Peter graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Government from Harvard College and received his JD from Yale Law School.

In addition to serving on the Sheriff’s Meadow Board, Peter currently serves on the boards of Afya Foundation, a nonprofit medical supplies recovery organization, and the Friends of Mt. Pleasant Cottage School (“MPCS”) Union Free School District (UFSD) Foundation, in Pleasantville, NY where he also serves as President. He previously served on the MPCS UFSD board of education for over a decade. Peter, his wife, Marnie, and their two children have been coming to Martha’s Vineyard annually since the late 1990’s, having rented in Edgartown, West Tisbury, Aquinnah, and Chilmark before buying a home in the Quansoo area of Chilmark in late 2018. Peter and his family walk Sheriff’s Meadow’s trails regularly and thoroughly enjoy all that Sheriff’s Meadow has to offer Martha’s Vineyard. Peter and his wife split their time between Chilmark and their home in Westchester County, New York.
