MV Water Trails
Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation has partnered with the Town of Tisbury’s Open Space and Recreation Committee and the Martha’s Vineyard Commission to establish two water trails on Lagoon Pond and Lake Tashmoo. These are envisioned as the first of many such trails across the island. These trails feature numbered locations where the public can land kayaks, canoes, or similar paddle boats to explore the surrounding area. A detailed map and information for each site are available through a Storymap, accessible via the link below or directly through the Excursions tab on the TrailsMV app
Note: internet access is required to utilize the StoryMaps
The Tisbury Water Trails were made possible through funding from the Community Preservation Act.
