Blazing Trails with the Toro Dingo

In September of 2019, Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation purchased a Toro Dingo Mini Skid Steer with mowing, stump-grinding and other attachments. This small, nimble, and versatile piece of machinery will make trail creation and maintenance work vastly more efficient. With the help of our new Land Steward, Joe Rogers, the Foundation has already put the machine to good use on Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation trails and on trails in the Manuel F. Correllus State Forest, where we have been helping.

The purchase of the skid steer was made possible by a generous grant from the Betsy and Jesse Fink Charitable Fund. The grant was given in acknowledgment of the dedication, professionalism, and hard work of Tom Robinson and Michael Berwind. Both Mr. Robinson and Mr. Berwind are members of the Foundation Board of Directors. Mr. Robinson chairs the Property Management Committee and Mr. Berwind chairs the Trails Committee, and both serve as exemplary volunteers for Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation.
